Range Rules
1. Eye and ear protection is required on the range. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Firearms must be pointed downrange when inside the shooting booth.
3. Shooters must stay behind red firing line. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. NO loading magazines or handling uncased firearms outside of stalls.
5. NO cellphones, photography, or video recording on the range.
6. “CEASE FIRE” Commands that all shooting to immediately stop. Firearms will be unloaded with action open placed on bench. Step back and await instructions.
7. Brass beyond the red firing line and behind other shooting lanes is strictly prohibited from being collected. NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Transporting or handling firearms away from shooting bench require the firearm to be unloaded, cased and pointed in a safe direction.
9. NO Holster draw. Exempt if Holster Certified by RCGR.
10. NO Rapid Fire (1 shot per second). Exempt if Rapid Fire Certified by RCGR.
11. NO kneeling or prone shooting.
12. NO shooting across lanes.
13. NO two gunning/ akimbo. Only one firearm shot at a time.
14. NO shooting from the hip.
15. NO cross draw, shoulder draw, back draw, hip draw or quick draw shooting (holstered or unholstered).
16. One shooter in the booth at a time. Shooters with guests must take turns.
17. Firearms must be unloaded, cased, locked, magazine detached, and pointed in safe direction when leaving the range. CCW and Law Enforcement exempt.
18. All shots must go into the rubber backstop. DO NOT shoot the ceiling, walls, floor, fire sprinklers or target trolleys – doing so will result in $100 minimum fine.
19. Loaded and jammed firearms are to remain in shooting booth until cleared.
20. Holstered firearms that exit the booth must be unloaded, magazine detached, with slide locked back.
21. Handgun and rifle ammunition up to .308 allowed.
22. Brass must be pushed forward of the red shooting line to prevent build-up.
23. Malfunctioning ammunition shall be discarded in RED DUDS DISPOSAL container. DO NOT leave it on the floor or downrange.
24. Rental Firearms shall not be disassembled, modified, or attempted repair.
25. Rental Firearms must only use range ammunition prescribed by RCGR. NO EXCEPTIONS.
26. NO Food, drink, gum, tobacco permitted in range. Wash hands after shooting.
27. NO open toed or open heeled shoes allowed. Appropriate footwear and attire must be worn to enter the range. (no Crocs, sandals, slippers)
28. Parent/Guardian is solely responsible for their minors (under 18) and must always accompany the minor while on premises.
29. Risk of lead exposure and hearing loss from firearms, it is recommended for pregnant individuals to avoid being inside the range.
30. Failure to follow Range Safety Officers instruction, safety rules or suspected to be under the influence of controlled substances will result in dismissal from premises without refund.
31. PROHIBITED Ammunition – steel-core, armor-piercing, tracer, incendiary, frangible, birdshot or reloaded/handloaded ammunition unless pre-approved and inspected by staff. Only factory-new ammunition is permitted. Prohibited ammunition will be confiscated for range use and returned during checked out.
32. PROHIBITED Firearms – Bump fire stocks, binary triggers, and fully auto firearms are strictly prohibited.
33. PROHIBITED Targets – targets representing people is strictly prohibited. Cardboard and paper targets only.
